General questions about FeteFinders.com

  • For general customers, Fete Finder provides users with a one-stop shop for information on and access to fetes, festivals and carnivals around the world on an easy to use, safe and secure web environment. Fete Finder also allows users the ability to interact with fellow “feterans” through our social community platform.
  • For promoters, Fete Finder provides a single dashboard, allows you to stay updated with everything related to your events (i.e., finances, attendees, and relevant changes). Fete Finder also enables you to plan your event from registration, ticketing, listing, promotions, and payments.

Yes, we very much so believe in doing our due diligence in not only securing our websites but our users as well. Here are the ways we secure the site:

    • We use a 128/256bit SSL encryption on all of our pages.
    • All payment methods are handled through third-party processing centers (Paypal, Stripe) and users’ financial data is never stored on our server. 
    • We vet newly registered users by cross-checking with their social media accounts, emails and verified photo ID.
    • We run daily automated scans for malware.
    • We’ve added a password login limit (i.e., if you guess your password more than 5 times, you will be locked out. This is especially useful for hackers and bots from trying to guess users passwords).

Anyone can create a FeteFinders.com account for free.

FeteFinders.com members can resell an event ticket or a costume for free; however, FeteFinders.com uses either PayPal or Stripe payment processing to fulfill costume payment transactions. Both PayPal and Stripe charge a 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee for each transaction.  

Carnival and Caribbean-related businesses may advertise their website and/or services in our “Add Listing” and “Listings” section. Listings package prices vary. For listing package pricing please visit here.

Before reporting a technical or system issue, we recommend that you do the following steps:

      • Clear your cache and cookies.
      • Update your Flash and Java versions.
      • Try a different browser.
      • Make sure you’re running the latest browser version
      • Please allow any pop-ups to run on our site, so If you have a popup blocker, disable it for our website only (it’s good and helpful popups)

NOTE: If you’re having issues on a mobile device, please try accessing the site via a desktop computer/laptop to see if the issue is specific to mobile devices and/or mobile web browsers.

    • Description of the issue (include what you were doing on Fete Finder before the issue occurred)—e.g., “I just added an image to my listing. When I went to submit my listing, I encountered the issue in the attached screenshot.”

Account Questions

Questions regarding users’ accounts on FeteFinders.com

The personal information that we collect is strictly used to process your order and/or contact you in the event of any changes or cancellations regarding the event . Your name, address, email address, and phone number are required for these purposes. We are committed to protecting your personal information and never sell your information to other third parties or companies. The promoter of the event you purchase tickets for may be provided with your information (if requested) to contact you about future events they may have – however, no payment information is ever provided to the promoter.

To buy or sell tickets or costumes on Fete Finder you must be registered user/member.

Creating a Fete Finder account is free.

When you list tickets on Fete Finder, you need to deliver the tickets to the buyer the same way you received them.

Tickets must be for Caribbean-related event, where soca music is primarily being featured.


Fete Finder members can sell electronic, and mobile tickets on our site.

Electronic tickets include PDF and image file (JPG, PNG) tickets.
Mobile ticketsinclude mobile transfers and barcode tickets.

You can also sell single-event, multi-day, and multi-event tickets.

For Tickets

1. If you would like to Resell a ticket go to the Fete Menu drop down and select “Resell Your Tickets/Costume” 

2. Fill out all the necessary details, and make sure your Ticket/Costume to the event is attached.

3. Submit, and you’ll be presented a preview of your listing, however this is not live and viewable to the public.

4. Upon submission, your post will be pending, our team will review within 1-4hrs. If we have any questions, we will contact you directly, otherwise you’ll receive an email stating your submission has been approved. 

 

For Costumes:

1. If you would like to Resell a ticket go to the Fete Menu drop down and select “Resell Your Costume” 

2. Fill out all the necessary details, and make sure you attach the receipt of your Costume.

3. Submit, and you’ll be presented a preview of your listing, however this is not live and viewable to the public.

4. Upon submission, your post will be pending, our team will review within 1-4hrs. If we have any questions, we will contact you directly, otherwise you’ll receive an email stating your submission has been approved. 

To do either edit, hide, or delete your listing simply do the following:

  1. Make sure you’re logged in, and click on your avatar in the top right corner
  2. Then click on Listing and this will take you to the listing overview dashboard area.
  3. Locate the listing you want to modify by using the page numbers at the bottom of the list.
  4. Click on the More drop down button and you’ll be provided with three options to edit, hide or delete the listing.
  5. Choose an action by simply clicking on it.

We’ve provided some screenshots for you for your convenience below.

  • In order to delete your account you will have to contact us and we will delete your account along with all data associated with the account.
  • When sending in this request please be sure to include what your name, user name and email.
  • Once the deletion is complete will we inform you through email. 

Listings for ticket or costume resales, businesses or services, or blog posts are reviewed by Fete Finder staff prior to becoming public on the site, typically between 6-12 hours. If you do not see your listing after this time period please contact us.

Please visit your Fete Hub menu, then under the My Store sub menu, My Products

Ticket Order Questions

Questions regarding FeteFinders.com ticketing process

An e-ticket will be sent to the email address on file for the account that purchased the ticket.

An E-Ticket is an electronically delivered ticket via email. This will come in the form of a QR Code or a barcode. To gain entry into the event you must take the booking reference or barcode with you, either on your phone or as a paper print out along with ID to gain entry to the event.

We recommend printing your E-ticket in full to avoid any issues at the venue. Fete Finder cannot be held responsible for any issues arising if you do not take this reference/barcode with you.

You can Find your tickets in the Download section of the Fete Hub, under My Store

Confirmed/processed orders is shown in the my orders section of your Fete Finder account profile. Log in to verify your order completed or view past orders. Your order confirmation email and/or pdf ticket may also serve as the receipt for your order.

The status of your order is shown in your My Orders page.

  1. Complete – An order is complete when it’s approved and a successful payment has been made to complete the transaction. 
  2. Trash – When a product is either deleted or canceled.
  3.  On hold –  The order is placed on hold.
  4.  Processing – The order is processing.



 

If you see a Fete Finder charge on your bank or credit card statement but don’t see your order on the My Orders section of your Fete Finder account, it’s likely a pending charge. Pending charges should drop off in 2-3 days (or sooner).

 

 

 

 

Order processing fees cover the basic costs of making tickets available online. Fete Finder’s order processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per ticket.

Please go to the Fete Hub menu, My Orders, then select the order that you need to reprint by click on the view.  You’ll be taken to the order details in which you should see a downloadable button containing your ordered item (e-ticket). 

If you want to just re-download your ticket again, simply go to the downloads My Account section. This is where you would be able to reprint your e-ticket.

Now you will see your download files that you can download again by clicking on them

Payment Questions

Questions regarding payments made on FeteFinders.com

Fete Finder accepts credit card (Stripe, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB ) and PayPal as forms of payment for tickets.

To keep your personal details safe we do not store your credit card details after the transaction is complete.

Please ensure your credit card or PayPal details are entered correctly. If you are still encountering problems, please contact us.

Questions related to technical issues or concerns using FeteFinders.com

  1. Try using the latest version of Chrome or Internet Explorer to access FeteFinders.com.
  2. Check to make sure any browser add-ons or apps are disabled.
  3. If you are still experiencing issues open up an incognito or private browser window to access the site.
